SignCAD Systems, Inc. introduces PathPlanner ROADS, a CAD based, engineering tool developed by Simtra AeroTech AB. PathPlanner ROADS is used within MicroStationÒ SE/J/V8/V8.1 or AutoCADÒ 2000/2002/2204 to accurately determine space requirements.
PathPlanner ROADS contains the AASHTO 2001 design vehicles, CALTRANS library and international vehicle libraries. It also has a vehicle editor for designing custom vehicles.
This program also allows the user to view animated simulations to track a path or an offset line and to review the result of actual vehicle limitations. An animation can be saved as a movie file and played back on any Windows PC.
